The Florida Biodiversity Project v. Kennedy, Civ. No. 95-50-24(D) (M.D. Fla.)

Case Summary:

We represented the Florida Biodiversity Project and other Florida environmental activists in a novel legal challenge to the National Park Service's failure to protect the fragile ecosystems of the Big Cypress National Preserve from excessive off-road vehicle use and other impacts. We settled the lawsuit when the Park Service agreed to prepare, for the first time, a comprehensive ORV Management Plan for the Preserve.
