Natural Resources Defense Council v. Environmental Protection Agency, Civ. No. 05-340 (D.D.C.)

Case Summary:

We represented NRDC in a challenge to an EPA advisory committee that provided key recommendations concerning environmental monitoring for atrazine, a dangerous yet common pesticide. NRDC alleged that the advisory committee, which met entirely in secret, was subject to FACA's open access requirements. The district court dismissed the case, but the Court of Appeals reinstated it. NRDC v. EPA, No . 05-340 (RMU). Subsequently the plaintiffs settled the suit.
