Dalton v. Forest Service, Civ. No. 97-774 (D.D.C. 1997)
Case Summary:
On behalf of the Forest Service Employees for Environmental Ethics, we assisted in a challenge to a Forest Service rule which prohibited Service employees from filing administrative appeals of timber sale and other decisions. After we moved for summary judgment, the Forest Service agreed to rescind its rule and replace it with one which allows employees to participate in the appeal process.
