Shruti Suresh joined Meyer Glitzenstein & Crystal as a Law Clerk in August 2010 and is currently working in the Firm as a Law Fellow. She received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia University School of Law in May 2010, and obtained her Bachelor of Laws (B.A., LL.B.) from the National University of Juridical Sciences in India in 2008. At both law schools, her academic and co-curricular activities focused on environmental law. Shruti is a member of the New York Bar and is also admitted to practice in India.
Since joining Meyer Glitzenstein & Crystal, Shruti has assisted the Firm in research and drafting in cases concerning environmental, wildlife and public health law. Her previous experience includes internships at environmental organizations in the United States and India, including the United Nations Environment Program, Environmental Defense Fund, Worldwide Fund for Nature, and International Environmental Law Research Center. Further, while at Columbia Law School, Shruti worked with the Columbia Environmental Law Clinic for the duration of her LL.M. Prior to joining Columbia, Shruti worked as an associate at Amarchand & Mangaldas, a law firm in India.
